Before Your Appointment

Hair Length

Aim for hair to be at least a quarter of an inch long, roughly the length of a grain of rice. This allows the wax to grip the hair effectively for optimal results.

Exfoliation

Gentle exfoliation a day or two before your appointment helps remove dead skin cells, allowing for a smoother waxing process and reducing the risk of ingrown hairs.

Hydration

Drink water. Keep your skin well-hydrated leading up to your appointment. Moisturized skin is more elastic, making hair removal less painful.

Avoid Sun Exposure

Try to avoid prolonged sun exposure or tanning beds for at least 24 hours before your appointment. Sunburned or overly tanned skin is more sensitive and prone to irritation during waxing.

Skip the Lotions and Oils

Refrain from applying lotions, oils, or creams to the area being waxed on the day of your appointment. These products can create a barrier, making it difficult for the wax to adhere to the hair effectively.

Arrive Clean and Fresh

Please arrive for your appointment with clean skin. Avoid using any products, including deodorant and perfumes, on the area being waxed.
